The aim of this hypothetical project was to design a Visual Art Center in Southern India, aimed at supporting professional artists, art students, and art enthusiasts. The center will focus on promoting and empowering visual arts through education, exhibitions, studios, and community programs. This project was initiated in response to the lack of art infrastructure in the area, including galleries and institutions. To address this issue, the proposed art center will provide various facilities such as studio spaces, art residences, gallery space, performance venues, workshop areas, library areas, and an auditorium, with the goal of encouraging art practices and facilitating art education.
